The Author
I write because silence, left unattended, becomes unbearable.
George Thomas O'Brien is an award-winning author of literary fiction, historical narrative, and the creator of the acclaimed Inkwell Chronicles boardgame series. With over two decades of writing, his work has been translated into fourteen languages and celebrated across four continents.
A native of the west of Ireland, George now divides his time between Dublin and a small cottage in Connemara — where, he insists, the best sentences are still written by hand.
